Hier berichte ich über mein Projekt eine Sinar F 4×5 inch Fachkamera derart zu modifizieren, dass sie mit einer digitalen Spiegelreflexkamera für Architektur und Panorama Fotografie verwendet werden kann.
Der Gedanke grossformatige Kameras einzusetzen kam auf, nachdem mehrere Versuche verzerrungsfreie Panorama- oder Architekturaufnahmen zu realisieren, nur Bilder mäßiger Qualität ermöglichten. Die Benutzung von Mittelformatobjektiven mit einem Shift-Adapter stellte einen ersten Schritt “in die richtige Richtung” dar, war jedoch noch von der angestrebten Bildqualität entfernt. Nach einiger Recherche beschloß ich, eine Fachkamera derart zu modifizieren, dass eine digitale Spiegelreflexkamera, anstelle des Filmhalters an der hinteren Standarte montiert, eingesetzt werden kann.
Was als eine leicht verrückte Idee begann, entwickelte sich zu einem ernsthaften Projekt und schließlich zu einer funktionierenden Kamera, die regelmäßig eingesetzt wird. Hey I am interested in what you are doing with the LF & Digital. I am thinking about doing a similar set-up. I was wondering how the “focus to infinity” issue is delt with on shorter focal lengths? Have you seen Schneider digitars?
Hi James,
The tricky part is, that the minimal distance between chip and center of the lens you plan to use is defininy your focal length. For me a Schneider Angulon Super 121mm is doing fine for infinity focus. My 90mm works only as a “macro” … In any case there is only “trial and error” as e.g. this center of the lens thing does not really always work in mathematical terms … Don’t hesitate to ask further questions !
